Two beautiful litters have come our way thanks to Chanel and Dior.
Chanel's litter of 2 girls and 3 boys arrived on 6 July 2010. Dior had 5 girls and 1 boy exactly three weeks later on 27 July 2010. 

Both litters are progressing well and the mums are doiong just fine.

Vale Kyro

Well into his 14th year, my wonderful Kyro passed away on Saturday 7 November 2009.

Maintaining his joyful disposition to the end, I will always remember him with love. His achievements both in and outside the ring bring pride to his breed

Arcticlight's New Litter

Mated with Jazza (Arcticlight Im Furdinkum), the beautiful Tori (Anaky Toil and Trouble) gave birth on 27 October 2009 to two perfect boy pups.

Mum is diligent to a fault, never leaving her twins for more than a few minutes. Babies are doing well and putting on weight. 

Just had to upload this fantastic photo of Chanel taken by an amateur photographer friend on a recent visit to Camden.  

Since our website went live I have received a number of complimentary emails but this one touched me. Belinda Dunn wrote: "I just wanted to thank you and congratulate you on having the most informative, well set out, attractive website on Samoyeds... I have a little 15 week old boy, Fletcher... I loved the section "The Attraction of the Samoyed" particularly the "humour section - 'all indicative of the Samoyed's celebration of life,' what a beautiful statement, and so true.. I'm seeing all these traits in my little man - including the communication by paw, nose and voice!... Every bit of research and information I have found on these dogs is practically on your site - I wish I had found this earlier!"

Thank you Belinda and thank you for giving us permission to upload your Fletcher and his 'big' pug brother, Hugo. We wish you joy.

Bunny is showing herself to be a clever girl! After receiving a 13 point challenge in March, she has had a couple of wins including Minor in Show at The Bay City All Breeds Kennel Club on 3 and 4 April. Go Bunny Go!

On 21 March 2009, at only seven and a half months of age, Bunny has received a 13 point challenge at the Castle Hill Agricultural Society Inc.

Also on a happy note, Arcticlight Samoyeds has received word that a Samoyed, temporarily left in the care of a third party, has been returned to the rightful owner. When such people refuse to return animals in situations like this, it is theft. With plenty of documentation as to ownership and identification of the Samoyed, the owner was able to obtain the assistance of the police.

Because of you we became accustomed to patience, tenderness and loving attention.

Because of you we are who we are.

Well known for his appearances at the Variety children's charity and other community events in and around Sydney, Tchaikovsky will be sadly missed. Not only was he of the most gentle nature and a talented "showman", but he was a fine example of the best of samoyed breeding. Our thoughts are with Di and Bob. Tchaikovsky has photos in our Gallery under Variety Children's Party.

It's amazing how quickly the year goes. Everyone says this but it doesn't make it less true. At Arcticlight, with Jazza and Bunny growing by the day, the weeks just seem to rush by.

The continuing round of shows also contributes to the rapid passing of each year. Yet working with my samoyeds is something I could not imagine not doing. I know I am not alone with this sentiment.

Merry Christmas to all my friends and let's do it all again next year!

Jazza is getting bigger all the time and his form is good.  My most recent photographs of Jazza are on the Show Results page if you want to check them out.

On Saturday 22 November 2008 Jazza won an award for Best Baby Puppy of Breed. 

We are very proud of him.  His Show Results are coming on a pace.

I'm happpy to say that I now have a brand new website. Many thanks to Big Red Bus Web Design. On this site you can browse the details, show results and pedigrees of my dogs. We have included a fantastic gallery which showcases photos, not only from my kennel but photos of Samoyeds belonging to friends as well as the Samoyeds that feature at the Children's Variety Club function each Christmas.

This new website co-incides with the arrival of my new pups Jazza (pictured) and Bunny. Only last week Jazza won best puppy in group and best puppy in show. See this and other Show Results by clicking that button.
